The Logistics Development Strategy for 2025–2035, with a Vision to 2050, approved by the Prime Minister on October 9, 2025, sets the goal of making logistics a key economic sector and positioning Vietnam as the “heart” of goods distribution in Southeast Asia.

• Logistics to contribute 5–7% of GDP, with logistics costs reduced to 12–15% of GDP.
• LPI (Logistics Performance Index) to reach the Top 40 globally.
• Establish five modern logistics centers of international standard.
🔹 Vision to 2050:
• Logistics to account for 7–9% of GDP, with costs reduced to 10–12% of GDP.
• LPI among the Top 30 globally.

🔹 Key development priorities:
• Comprehensive investment in transport infrastructure, warehouses, ports, logistics centers, and free trade zones.
