But how can a familiar local specialty be transformed into a high-value product that creates jobs and reaches international markets?
This is the story of Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Huong, who turned Ca Mau sea crabs into Huong Bao Chau Crab Salt.
Starting with an idea after returning to her hometown, Ms. Huong spent around six months testing recipes, selecting ingredients, and adjusting seasoning ratios. Live sea crabs are cleaned, boiled, and separated into meat and roe, then mixed with salt, garlic, chili, and seasonings before being slowly roasted by hand for hours.
The key feature she wants to preserve in every jar of crab salt is simple: customers must be able to “see the crab meat.” Strands of crab meat are kept intact in the mixture, while the roe gives the product its natural orange color and distinctive aroma.
After more than a year on the market, the product has achieved approximately VND 3 billion in annual revenue, with thousands of jars already sold to the United States. The business also provides stable employment for dozens of local workers.

🌱 Beyond crab salt, the business continues to develop products from giant freshwater prawns and other local specialties of Ca Mau, with the goal of increasing the value of local agricultural products.
A familiar local ingredient, when invested in through recipe development, processing, packaging, and market positioning, can become an entirely new product.
This is also part of the journey of food product development:

From raw materials → ideas → formulation → production → product finalization → commercialization.
👉 At MISSION, we partner with businesses throughout the food product development process, from ideation and R&D to OEM manufacturing, product finalization, commercialization, and export support.
Because sometimes, creating new value is not about finding a new ingredient, but about how we transform familiar ingredients into products that meet market needs.

─────
📩 We specialize in wholesale supply at competitive prices, with connections to packing and international shipping partners.
👉 OEM available: soup cubes, dried vermicelli, dried pho noodles, rice paper, and more.
👉 Develop new products according to your requirements, with flexible quantities and solutions optimized for each market.
─────
📍 MISSION – Your One-Stop Food Manufacturing Solution
☎️ Contact us today for a free consultation.

✳️ 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐎., 𝐋𝐓𝐃 ✳️
📧 Email: oem.mission@khainamgroup.com
🌐 Website: https://khainamgroup.com
📞 Hotline: (+84) 768 15 58 76

Ca Mau is known for its sea crabs.
