Trade relations with strategic partners are also seeing notable progress. Vietnam–Singapore trade in 2025 surpassed 31.67 billion SGD, với Vietnamese exports to Singapore rising sharply by 46.4% – showing that the supply chains of the two countries are increasingly interconnected.

⚙️ The Government is activating a series of strong measures:
On November 19, 2025, the Prime Minister issued Directive 221 requiring:
• Promoting trade facilitation and diversifying export markets.
• Accelerating negotiations on new FTAs with GCC, MERCOSUR, Pakistan, Egypt, Algeria…
• Enhancing support for businesses through the overseas trade office network — “reaching every market, knocking on every door.”
• Connecting domestic enterprises with FDI firms to participate in global supply chains.
🛡️ Thanks to these measures, Vietnam’s total import–export turnover in the first 10 months of 2025 reached 762.4 billion USD, up 17.4%; exports hit 391 billion USD, generating a trade surplus of 19.6 billion USD.
🌏 Moving toward the milestone of 450 billion USD in exports
Experts predict that, with the current growth trajectory, Vietnam’s exports could surpass 450 billion USD in 2025, setting a new record. Despite ongoing global trade fluctuations, this is considered a “strategic breathing space” for enterprises to upgrade technology, standardize green production, and expand markets.
